Town Council Seat Vacancy

The Town of Newington is accepting Letters of Interest from residents who wish to be considered for appointment to a vacant Town Council seat. About two years remain in the unexpired term.

Eligibility:

• Must be a Town of Newington resident for at least 1 year

• Must be a registered voter

• Must have no outstanding debts to the Town

Deadline to submit: 12:00 p.m. (noon) on February 9, 2026

The Council will review submissions in February and make an appointment at the March meeting.
